Usually, there are two main factors that purification companies consider when designing a clean workshop, namely: the original structural system of the building and the particularity of future production.
1. The original structural system of the building
If GMP workshop layout is involved, the first thing to consider is the original structural system of the building, such as brick wall structure or reinforced concrete structure, whether it is single-storey, low-rise or high-rise, and the location of the load-bearing wall. These two cases of preparation production will be described.
1. Production of pharmaceutical injections: In the layout of GMP workshops decorated in such factories, since the main production equipments use production linkage lines, there are strict requirements on the length and width of the workshops, and the workshops with reinforced concrete structures are not suitable. Brick wall structure is better.
2. Solid preparation production: In the layout of GMP workshops decorated in such factories, since the steps of each production unit are relatively independent, it is recommended to use the original separation layout of the factory buildings, but the precondition is to arrange the entry of the equipment in advance according to the equipment conditions. Installation and maintenance routes.
2. The particularity of future production
Specifically, three points need to be considered, namely: Class A production, explosion-proof control, and material in and out.
1. Class A production: a special production area must be set up, and the explosion-proof wall and explosion-proof door bucket must be separated from other areas.
2. Control explosion-proof: The explosion-proof measures of GMP workshop must meet the notes in Article 3.1.1 of "Code for Design of Building Fire Protection" (2002 Edition). Specifically, when there are different types of production in the workshop, the classification should be determined according to the part with greater fire risk. If the fire is not enough to spread to other areas, the classification should be determined by the part with less fire hazard.
3. Material in and out: Taking the preparation GMP workshop as an example, it is recommended to use a small package of solvent, and then send it into the production area through the "material cleaning" program for weighing, and return the remaining material to the warehouse, so as to minimize the resulting all kinds of problems.
In addition, there are clear specifications for the clean workshop building and process layout.
1. Clean factory building
① The main structure should use a large space and large span column network, and should not use the inner wall load-bearing system.
② The enclosure structure of the workshop should be made of materials that are heat-insulating, fire-proof, moisture-proof, and less dust-producing.
③ The durability of the main structure of the workshop should be coordinated with the level of indoor equipment and decoration; the deformation joints of the workshop should not pass through the clean area.
④ When the supply and return air pipes and other pipelines are installed in the dark, technical interlayers, technical intervening channels, trenches, etc. shall be set up; when the vertical pipelines passing through the floors need to be installed in the dark, technical shafts should be set up, and their form, size and structure shall conform to the air ducts. , pipeline installation, maintenance, fire protection requirements.
2. The process layout of the clean workshop
① In the clean room (area), only necessary process equipment, as well as processes and studios with air cleanliness level requirements are arranged.
② Clean rooms (areas) with air cleanliness requirements should be close to the air-conditioning room; processes with strict air cleanliness requirements should be arranged on the windward side; process equipment that is prone to pollution should be arranged near the return air outlet.
③ Fully consider the installation, operation and maintenance route of large equipment, and preset installation ports and inspection ports.
④ Set up air lock chamber and transfer window; separate material inlet.
⑤ The arrangement of various fixed technical facilities (air supply vents, lighting, return air vents, pipelines, etc.) in the workshop shall give priority to the requirements of the purification air-conditioning system.
